COUNTRY and PROUD OF IT!!!

I am one of the few Nashville Artists that was actually born in Nashville. But since most people never believe this, I don't tell everyone I meet.

"I've always been a fan of country music, but it
was not until I first heard Luther Perkins pick, that I decided I wanted to be a picker, too. He was my main influence and inspiration, although Johnny Cash, Merle, Waylon, Willie, Carl Perkins and others also influenced my style of picking."

I began writing songs at a very early age and by
the age Of nineteen, was performing in Europe as well as in the United States.
I have been bandleader and manager for several
of my own bands as well as other artists from as far away as Canada.

Bob has a self-penned 10 song CD entitled, "First Of All", recorded in Nashville on Music Row, and the album includes something for everyone, up tempo, ballads, and even some comedy. His latest album is titled "Footprints at the jukebox " and includes 9 songs which were written by Bob, including the title song. This Album also brings back, by popular demand, the big hit song which Bob wrote, "Luther Perkins Picked"

Bob's songs have been and are currently being played worldwide with great response. Bob also has been on the other side of the dial, when he became DJ at local radio station, WSGI 1100 AM in Springfield, Tn. He also hosted one of the few live country music radio shows in existence, The Live Saturday Afternoon Jam, at the same station.

Some of Bob's other accomplishments include: Playing at Skull's Rainbow Room in Printer's Alley, Tootsie's Orchid Lounge, touring the New England states and many other venues throughout Tennessee and Kentucky.

One of Bob's biggest achievements, of late, was when he was presented an award from King Eagle Awards for "Award of Merit " on October 2, 1999.

The Independent Country Music Association Of Germany nominated "Luther Perkins Picked" for "Song of the year" for 1999 and 2000. Bob was also nominated for the I C.M.A.G. Horizon Award"' for 2000.

At the Airplay International Awards show held in Nashville, Tn., September 28, 29 & 30, 2000, Bob was presented the International Song of the Year Award for the country song he wrote and recorded, "I Might Fall In Like With You".

Bob also received the International Star Award for Career Achievement for the year 2000, in London, England.

Thank you for taking the time to read my bio, and hopefully we will meet in person in the near future. Until then,

"Have a Great Country Day!!!"
